A BIT ABOUT ME

After over 25 years teaching the Music for Young Children (MYC) program, and even more years teaching privately, in 2022, I started to scale (pun intended!) it back a bit. I have been so blessed to have gotten to know hundreds of students and lead their introduction to music and piano, teaching them to read music, and help develop their playing talents.

Learning something new and working to get better at it isn't easy, but when your teacher demonstrates a caring and encouraging attitude, much can be accomplished. Every one of my students is important which is why creating a supportive, safe and effective learning environment is so important to me.

Accredited with my Royal Conservatory ARCT, plus earned teaching credentials though the Registered Music Teachers Association of BC, and as a certified MYC teacher, students will receive  qualified piano instruction that can enrich their lives with the language of music.
